Yarn... Yum.

Last winter I took a free knitting class and something clicked. I really liked the medatative aspect of knitting something simple, and at the end of it you had a hat or a scarf or something! Pretty cool! Since then I've discovered Ravelry, an online knitting community. It has patterns, discussion boards and it's a great place for ideas and advice.
It's also a cool place to find out about new stuff. The latest cool, independent yarnista (like a barista- but creator of cool yarns instead of fancy coffees) is at http://www.yarnsprout.com/. It's gorgeous and I WANT some. Go check it out and you will want some too.
